Antonio Perri, fondly known as Ninno, passed away peacefully at his home with his family present on Sunday, January 24, 2021, at the age of 84. He was born in Falerna, Italy, region of Calabria on March 14, 1936 to the late Pietro and Fenice (Mancuso) Perri. On April 16, 2019, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Francesca (Bruzio) Perri. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his infant daughter; his siblings Francesca, Thomasina, Paulo, and Giuseppe Perri; his sisters-in-law Marianna Bruzio and brother-in-law Vincenzo Bruzio. Loving father of Anthony “Tony” Perri of Sewickley; cherished grandfather of Anthony Perri, Allesandra Perri (Timothy “Ty” Antonelli) and Brittany O’Brien; so, loved his beautiful great granddaughter Francesca Antonelli. Ninno was a member of St. James Church and resident of Sewickley most of his life. A barber by trade, he began his family business, Perri’s Barber Shop in 1961 located at 280 Fourth St., Ambridge which is now owned and operated by his son Tony. His legacy was that of love and friendship and he so enjoyed spending his time with family and friends. He was a jokester of sort with a great sense of humor, He was an avid gardener and winemaker. He was devoted to Padre Pio, his patron saint. This kind and caring man will be greatly missed by his family, clients, and many friends. Visitation Wednesday 1-3, 5-8 PM at Copeland’s Sewickley, 702 Beaver St. where prayers will be recited on Thursday at 10:30 AM followed by Mass at Divine Redeemer, St. James Campus, 200 Walnut St. at 11 AM, Father Paul Esibu will celebrant. Entombment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
