Annie L. (Boyd) Melvin

On October 27, 2020, Annie L. Melvin went home to be with Our Lord and Savior. Annie L. was the wife of the late Henry T. Melvin.

Annie was the daughter of the late Ethel and Annie R. Boyd. The sister of five brothers and 6 sisters, all of who preceded her in death.

Annie L. was the beloved mother of seven children: Clifford Pittman of Pittsburgh, PA, LaVonne Caffee of Kansas City, KS, Beverly Fisher of Coraopolis, PA, the late Jesse L. Fisher of Atlanta, GA, Annette Lawson of Pittsburgh, PA, Edward L. Fisher of Pittsburgh, PA and Annie Jean Banks of Coraopolis, PA.

Annie L. was the grandmother of 15 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, 18 great great grandchildren and 3 great great great grandchildren. The aunt of a host of nieces and nephews.

Annie L.  was a life-time member of White Lily Baptist Church, Chartiers, PA. She was retired from Ohio Valley Hospital, McKees Rocks, PA. She was a great cook teaching her daughters all her secret recipes, happy to host family gatherings, and always made holidays special.  She will be truly missed.  A private family service will be held. Arrangements by Copeland’s. Burial will be next to her beloved husband, Henry Melvin, in Chartiers Cemetery.
