Anne M. (Rable) Shook, 91, passed away in the comfort of her home with her grandsons and their wives providing her with their loving care on Tuesday, September 14, 2021. Anne was born in Coraopolis on New Year’s Day in the year of 1930 to the late Joseph and Anna (Karner) Rabel. Anne met the love of her life, Robert T. Shook, Sr., they were married on August 20, 1949 and made their home in Moon Township in 1962. On September 25, 2002, Robert T. Shook, Sr. preceded her in death. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her son Robert T. Shook, Jr., her brother Joseph Rabel, and her beloved 16-year-old dog, Skippy passed in August of 2021. She is survived by her cherished grandsons and their wives Craig and Julie Shook and Aaron and Casey Shook. Anne was an industrious worker in food service all her life. She had been employed by Vivio’s Butcher Shop; Shop n Save. Dunkin Donuts, the Donut Wagon, and worked until 85 at Brighton Hot Dog Shop. She loved her home and maintaining the outside, especially cutting her grass. “Gram, we are so grateful for this past year that we worked from home and were able to care for you.
