Alva Jean (Dick) Hribal

Alva Jean (Dick) Hribal, 88, of Moon Township, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at Beaver Valley Nursing Center. Alva was born in Penn Hills on October 26, 1932 to the late William and Pauline (Miskovicz) Dick. Alva married Lyle M. Hribal on July 15, 1960 and he passed on May 28, 2016. Their legacy will live on through their cherished children Sandra (Jeff) Lafferty, William (Crystal) Hribal and Robert (Amy) Hribal; and two adored grandchildren Mikayla and Kyle. Alva, a faithful and God-fearing woman, was a member of Sharon Community Presbyterian Church. Alva enjoyed collecting crystal, oil painting, watching birds, gardening, and cooking wonderful meals for her family. Visitation will be Friday 6-8 with service on Saturday at 11 AM at Copeland’s Moon Township, 981 Brodhead Rd. COVID-19 guidelines will be observed, wearing a mask and social distancing. Burial will follow at Sharon Community Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
