Alex Michael Molinari

Alex Michael Molinari; Age 35, most recently of California but originally from Moon Twp died unexpectedly in Mexico on Saturday, July 4th, 2026. Alex was born in Sewickley on July 26, 1990, a beloved son of Rose and the late Ronald Molinari. He attended St. Vincent College in Latrobe, PA graduating with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. His career in Senior Living expanded over 20 years. A diligent worker, he had so much love for his senior’s. He would do whatever it took to make them happy, even going to KFC to get them dinner.  He enjoyed trying new recipes and baking. He made some amazing chocolate chip cookies thank goodness I have some in my freezer. Alex always was dressed like he stepped off the cover of “GQ” magazine. He also had an affinity for plants, and the more he had the merrier he was. When he and Robbie left for California, his plants rode in their convertible the entire trip. Every stop would require a check-in on the plants to ensure their safety. Every time Alex got to a store that sold plants, he would look to Robbie with those blue eyes and say “can I just get one plant”? After some brief reluctance, Robbie would always agree. To know Alex was to love Alex. Those blue eyes and that million-dollar smile would light up any room. He had a heart of gold and loved life to the fullest. Along with his mother Rose, and her fiancé Vito Maggio, he is survived by his partner Robbie Shull of California. Dear nephew of Sandy Acierno of Liberty, OH, Linda Paparazzo of Coraopolis, PA and John (Fran) Angelo of Hubbard, OH, Gary (Rhonda) from Poland, OH, Guy (Mary) of Hubbard, OH and Joe (Paula) of New Middletown, OH. Also survived by his Godparents and cousins Pam & Vic Sniezek along with many other cousins, friends who adored him. His 4-legged companions share in the grief along with everyone else, his dog Angie and his cat Charlotte. Friends will be received at the R.D. Copeland Funeral Home, Inc., 981 Brodhead Road, Moon Twp on Sunday, July 26th from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 pm. A prayer services will be held at the funeral home on Monday, July 27th at 10:30 am prior to Mass of Christian Burial at St. Margaret Mary Church at 11am. Following the Mass, Alex will be laid to rest with his father, Ronald, at the Resurrection Cemetery.
