Alan Dean Obituary

Alan "Al" Patrick Dean, 65, life-long resident of Coraopolis, passed away on Saturday, February 22, 2025 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Born on December 25, 1959 to the late James William Dean and Joan Macsurak Dean at Ohio Valley General Hospital. Alan was a 1978 graduate of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart and had the pleasure of praying with Sister Melanie on his last day. Alan went on to CCAC, learning TV and small appliance repair with opening his own business, VidTech in Kennedy Township. While working at VidTech he became fast friends with Tony Fratto, and because of his love for music he joined Tony with his DJ business. He is probably most remembered for his dance music at Junior's parties especially New Years Eve. He was always so happy after a night of playing music. He started "another" side job with Mike Pisano writing programs for police departments and formed his own company, CrimeWare Technology serving Green Tree, Findlay, Cecil, Sewickley, and North Fayette. He was hired full-time for North Fayette as "The IT Guy". He truly loved his job even working up to the last day of his admission to the hospital. Al loved finding humor in any moment bringing joy to all who had the privilege to have known him. Al remained young at heart his entire life. The greatest impact that he left is in the hearts of the family he chose. Alan is survived by his love and long-time partner, Michele Pisano; sons Brian Bialowas (Moriah), and Daniel Bialowas (Ashley); grandchildren Erin, Jacob, Corrina, Mason, Ethan and Liam. Also his nurse nieces who tended to his medical needs and a nephew, but let's not forget the real loves of his life Roxanne and Millie.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday March 1st, 2025, from 1PM-7PM at the SNPJ Lodge 106, 255 W Allegheny Rd, Imperial PA 15126. Al requested all guests to come dressed as they are to enjoy drinks, music and laughter in his honor with all who loved him.

Arrangements by Copeland's. In lieu of flowers, family suggests donations in his name to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital or ASPCA.
