Agnes May (Delach) Yordana, lived her 98 years to the fullest, a resident of Crescent since 1957, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at Harbour Senior Living. Agnes was born on May 27, 1922 in Pittsburgh, one of five children to the late Paul and Barbara (Krulach) Delach. On June 15, 2013, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 67 years, Louis A. Yordana. In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by her siblings Mary Holliday, Joseph Delach, Sophie Jencik and Stephen Delach. She is the loving mother of Alice (Charles) Husko of Crescent; cherished grandmother of Jessica (Jeff) Fudala, Christopher (Alyssa) Husko, and Daniel (finance Elena Cucco) Husko; great grandmother of Troy and Mallory; also many loving niees, nephews and cousins. Agnes was a 1940 graduate of St. Mary’s High School in McKees Rocks and a member of Archangel Gabriel Parish. As a young woman, she worked as a baker for Jenny Lee Bakery and later worked as a candy maker for Anderson’s Candy Store in Baden. In addition to her baking and candy-making, she also took pride in her cooking. Visitation Sunday 4-6 PM at Copeland’s Moon Township, 981 Brodhead Rd. (masks and social distancing required) with prayers on Monday at 8:30 AM followed by Mass at Archangel Gabriel Parish, St. Mary’s Help of Christian Campus, 1011 Church Ave., McKees Rocks, PA 15136. Entombment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, family suggests donations to Pittsburgh Community Food Bank.
