Walter Quaye, loving husband, father and grandfather, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 3, 2019 at Good Samaritan Hospice House, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Ambridge on November 10, 1939, he was one of three born to the late Albert Ernest and Emma (Walter) Quaye. He was preceded in death by his sister Judy Pastnovich and his brother Ernie Quaye. Walter married the love of his life, Nancy (Comchoc) Quaye on July 24, 1965 and they made Leet Township their home. They had two beautiful daughters, Michele Antonelli and her husband Tom and Jenny Miller and her husband Chris; and two cherished grandsons Nicholas Briggs and Max Miller. Walter was a retired industrial sales representative from American Saw and Manufacturing Company. He was a member of Beaver Lakes Country Club (now Shadow Lakes) where he had served as past president. He was an avid golfer, always enjoyed the yearly family vacations to the Outer Banks and the Sunday family dinners. Nancy and Walter also loved to just go out to eat. Everyday was joyful. Visitation Wednesday 2-8 PM at Copeland’s Sewickley, 702 Beaver St. where service will be held on Thursday at 10:30 AM. Entombment will follow in Sewickley Cemetery. As a way to say thank you to the staff for their kind and loving care, the family suggests donations in Walter’s name to Good Samaritan Hospice House, 146 Neely School Rd., Wexford, PA 15090.
