Thomas H. Jenkins

Thomas H. “Tucker” Jenkins, a wholesome man who loved his family, of McDonald, passed away in the comfort of his home surrounded on Sunday, January 27 at the age of 87. He was born in Pittsburgh on February 14, 1931, one of seven to the late Edwin and Catherine (Thomas) Jenkins. For 61 years, he was married to his bride, Philomena “Tina” (Lautiero) Jenkins, who passed on April 22, 2015. They had nine beautiful children: Cynthia Miller (David) of Weirton, WV, Deborah Stroncek (Dwight) of Burgettstown, Thomas R. Jenkins and Rebecca Jenkins both of Victorville, CA, Kimberly Radulovich (Nick) of Carnegie, Rose Hansen of Phoenix, AZ, Angelica Ruperto (David) of McDonald, PA, Shawn Jenkins (Terri) of Rancho Cucamonga, CA and Candice Jenkins (Tammy Shiery) of Connellsville. Their loving family kept growing to 18 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren. In addition to his spouse and parents, Tucker was preceded in death by his grandson Jay Jenkins and his 6 siblings. Always a worker, Tucker had been with Anchor Supply for 29 years, Union Steward for the Local Teamsters #635 and had been a Security Guard 20 years in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. A faithful member of St. Regis Church, Tucker was a family man, did not drink and loved to cook out. He was a creative artist and one of Tucker’s past times was making lead soldiers and painting them in detail. Tucker will be greatly missed by his caring and loving family. Visitation Thursday at Copeland’s Moon Township, 981 Brodhead Rd. where prayers will be recited on Friday at 9:00 AM followed by Mass at 10:00 AM at St. Patrick’s Church, 7322 Noblestown Rd., Oakdale, PA 15071. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
