Rose Marie Lorey, age 92, of Masonic Village, formerly of Moon Township, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at her home. She was born on May 13, 1925 in Star City, WV, one of three to the late Joseph and Flora (Prete) Lorey. Sister of Samuel Lorey (Mary Louise) of CA and Phillip Lorey (Patricia) of Moon Township; also, several nieces and one nephew. Rose Marie, very capable and organized was a hard worker all her life. She had been an executive secretary for both U.S. Steel and U.S. Airways. She had been a member of St. Margaret Mary Church. Rose had requested a simple burial at Resurrection Cemetery. Arrangements by Copeland’s. Rose’s family would like to thank Amedisys Hospice, 480 Johnson Rd., Suite 230, Washington, PA 15301 and Masonic Village, 1000 Masonic Dr., Sewickley, PA 15143 for their excellent care. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in Rose’s name to either organization.
