Robert Raymond Haines, Sr., age 63, of Neville Island since 2013, formerly of Coraopolis and Moon Township, passed away on Sunday, September 3, 2017 at Heritage Valley Sewickley. He was born in Nassau, NH on March 13, 1954 to Earl Albert Haines of Topsham, ME and the late A. Marilyn (Cribbs) Haines Engelleitner.  Loving father of Robert “Bobby” R. Haines, Jr. of Crescent; cherished son of William H. Engelleitner of Moon Township; loving brother of Wanda C. (Haines) Novak Grove (Pastor David L. Grove, Jr.) of Center; uncle of Chad A. Novak (Lyndsay) and Casie L. Novak Colalella (Ray); great uncle of Lyncoln Grace Novak. In addition, he is survived by Bobby’s mother, Carol (Pantzis) Straka of Crescent, and his best friend for 60 years, Tom Stossel of Indiana, PA. Robert, a comedian at heart, loved to joke and make people happy. His passion was cooking but he also enjoyed hunting and fishing. Robert was a 1973 graduate of Indiana High School, Indiana, PA. Robert had been employed by Central Wholesale on the South Side, U.S. Airways and the 99^th Army Reserve. Robert requested cremation. A memorial service will be held Saturday September 16, 2017 at 11:30 AM at the Coraopolis United Methodist Church, 1205 Ridge Avenue, Coraopolis, PA 15108. Arrangements by Copeland’s.
