Raymond W. Gregory, an adventurous spirit who embraced and loved life passed unexpectedly on Sunday, November 18, 2018 at the age 49. He was born in Sewickley on August 2, 1969 to Carolyn Joan (Osenbau) Gregory and the late Richard R. Gregory. He grew up in Moon Township graduating from Moon High School, Class of 1988. Ray moved to Hanover Township while working for Monster.com, improved his sales techniques and continued working with Best Line Equipment. Ray was everybody’s friend, gregarious and some would say fabulous and a “goof ball”. Ray loved to cook, camp, snow ski, white water rafting, basically trying anything new that sparked his interest. He loved fishing and was a hunter with good intentions. Ray was the beloved husband of Stephanie (Senn) for 19 years; cherished son of Carolyn Gregory; loving father of Tatum Rae and Keegan Richard; well-loved brother of Shannon Gregory of Moon Township, Meghan (TJ) Botkin of Clinton, Richard (Jennifer) Gregory of Moon; adored uncle of Jake Botkin and Aidan Gregory. Ray was preceded in death by his father, Richard R. Gregory, on Nov. 6, 2018. Ray was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Coraopolis and F & AM Lodge #674. Visitation Saturday (Nov. 24) 6-8 with Masonic Service at 7:30 PM and Sunday (Nov. 25) 2-8 at Copeland’s Moon Township, 981 Brodhead Rd. Please join the family for his service on Monday (Nov. 26) at 10 AM at the Presbyterian Church of Coraopolis, 1201 Fifth Ave. Coraopolis, PA 15108. Burial will follow in Coraopolis Cemetery.
