Pauline A. (Billy) Donnelly, 80, a Moon Township resident most of her life, passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home on Monday, April 3, 2017. Born in West Virginia on December 26, 1936, she was preceded in death by her mother, Mary (Billy) Kachik, her husband John T. Donnelly, Jr. and her son John V. Donnelly. Beloved and cherished mother of Kathy Donnelly; loving sister of John and Andrew Kachik. She had worked for GE, Calgon and MNC in the office. Her well-loved job was child care for Carol Leone and as a nanny for Gregory, Spencer and Trevor. Pauline was a member of the Stitching Group of the Ambridge Library. Pauline was patient, a quiet “do-er”, and had a smile that blossomed into her twinkling eyes. A life-long stitcher, Pauline learned to crochet doilies at a young age. Her art continued the rest of her life. Upon visiting, you would notice Pauline sitting in her recliner crocheting many afghans and listening to Country Music. A big heart, she donated all those afghans to Project Linus, Warm up America, Children’s Hospital through Eat n Park and Kings and since 2002, the Moon Volunteer Fire Department among pampering family and friends. Visitation Friday 2-8 PM at Copeland’s Coraopolis, 867 Fifth Ave. where a Blessing Service will be held on Saturday at 9:00 AM. Burial will follow at Holy Souls Cemetery. If desired, please donate to a child’s charity of your choice so that Pauline’s good work can follow her.
