A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wed. April 4, 2018 at 10AM in St. James Church with Father Thomas J. Burke Celebrant. Mary Theresa Coffey, born July 15, 1950 in Pittsburgh, passed away unexpectedly on March 25, 2018. Conscientious, patient and warm, Mary couldn't help but help in any way she could. Creating cozy, welcoming homes wherever she lived, she was tidy to almost a fault - and she encouraged everyone to leave their mess at the doorstep, because family peace was most precious to her. She may have been hard of hearing, but she was a soft listener; she may have moved slowly, but she was quick to be here or there whenever needed.

Mary’s absence saddens, but her love’s presence uplifts even in this mourning time. Her life has touched and blessed her family: Sherry, Marsha (David), Amy (Bill), Jerry, Paul, Mark (Cynthia), Kim (Rick), Catherine, Makenna, Preston, Kara, Emerson, Joe, Jackie and husband Ray. (She even delighted the families’ dogs.)

We trust that Mary is now reunited with her parents Jerome “Bud” Forney and Lois Forney, as well as with her brother Paul.
