Marion E. Damits, 99 of Coraopolis passed on Saturday January 5, 2019. Born October 24, 1919 in Coraopolis, daughter of the late John E. and Josephine (Kalina) Damits; mother of Elaine Vowinckel and friend Bob Macey of Pittsburgh and the late Mary Ann Schons, her son in law Don Schons still survives; she has grandchildren and great grandchildren; sister of Patricia (late William) Schempp of Greentree and Jack (Barb) Damits of Ingram and the late Josephine Anderson, Betty Foster, Paula Smith, Edward, Joseph and Benton Damits. She enjoyed her gardening and playing bingo. Visitation Tuesday 2-7 PM Copeland’s Coraopolis, 867 Fifth Ave. where a blessing service will be held at 6:00 PM. Private interment Resurrection Cemetery
