Marie C (Alessi) Skaggs

Marie C. (Alessi) Skaggs, 98 of Coraopolis passed away on Tuesday January 1, 2018. Born October 31, 1920 in Coraopolis, she was a graduate of Coraopolis High School and a proud member of the Honor Society. She graduated from Pittsburgh Technical College. She was employed by the Army Air Corps during World War II, Dravo Corp, Robert Morris College and Allegheny Concrete Pipe Association when she met her husband. They were not blessed with grandchildren but have 2 nieces and 2 nephews and many cousins. Viewing on Thursday 4-8 PM at Copeland’s Coraopolis, 867 Fifth Avenue. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday at St. Joseph’s Church (Time) then further viewing in WVA at the Ingram Funeral Home in St. Mary’s WV on Friday from 6-8 PM followed by a Committal service Saturday morning in St. Mary’s IOOF Cemetery, WVA. In lieu of flowers family suggests memorial donations to St. Joseph’s Church or a charity of your choice in her memory.
