Lois Jean (Hitt) Smith, 83 of Moon Township passed on Saturday July 22, 2017. She was born September 17, 1933 in Pittsburgh, daughter of the late Charles and Helen (Keim) Hitt; Beloved wife of Robert Smith; mother of the late Diane Susan Smith; she was preceded in death by her 8 siblings: Grace Karas, Dorothy Weisner, Ruth O’Rourke, James, Jack, Richard, Eddie and Bob Hitt.  She worked in the cafeteria for the Moon School District. She had great concern and loved helping people. Viewing Copeland’s Moon Township 981 Brodhead Road on Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM where a service will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 AM. Interment to follow in Coraopolis Cemetery
