Lillian (Weidner) Helbling, 91, passed away on Thursday, November 7, 2019 at Asbury Heights. Lillian was born in Pittsburgh on March 9, 1928, one of five to the late Norbert and Lillian (Holmes) Weidner. Lillian was from Pittsburgh most of her life. She was preceded in death by her husband Louis Helbling, her siblings Madeline Hahn, Emil Weidner, and Norma Ebeck and two infant children Mary Elizabeth and Joseph. Beloved mother of Mary Gretchen (Michael) Brocks, Luanne (David) Nelson, Aileen (Michael) Magnotto, and Louis Helbling; 12 cherished grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; sister of Norbert Weidner. Lillian was proud of her children, she loved flowers and her legacy was her great sense of humor that she passed on to her children. She was loved everywhere she went, and often talked about her dancing escapades at West View Park. Lillian taught her girls all to bake from scratch with love. But most important, Lillian loved her children. Lillian requested a private family service at Christ Our Redeemer Cemetery. Arrangements by Copeland’s.
