I just learned of his passing and am taken back. Osquer and family, Jay had spoken to me of his great love for you and told me about the joy you brought into his life. The world is a dimmer place without him and heaven is a brighter place with his joyful soul now waiting there for the rest of us.

I am very sorry for your loss. I haven't seen Jay for many decades but I have many wonderful memories of spending time with him back in the day. Jay was one of the kindest people I knew back then and I can say to this day that I ever met. Rest in Peace Jay. Play your music for the angels in Heaven.

Words can't express how stunned I was to hear of Jay's passing. He was one of the most positive, good natured people I knew during our younger years in Spotswood. My sincere condolences to his family during this difficult time. RIP Jay...

I knew Jay, when he was a young man in high school. His talent and his charisma was an all-encompassing bright light that enveloped all who crossed his path. It is very sad to know that beautiful light has been extinguished. My sincere condolences to his wife, family and friends. May you find peace among the sadness, as you hold Jay forever in your hearts, as I will, also. R.I.P., old friend.

I was truly stunned to see your Tweet @Osquer42. My deepest sympathy to all of you on your loss. I worked w/Jay at Del Monte, he was a GREAT man, quick with a smile, and ever quicker to help should you need it. I'll be forever grateful that he found me on Twitter. Heaven has truly gained a very special angel.

Deepest sympathy to the family that he cherished. Having a family was Jays greatest joy. He loved his sons and grand daughter, and wife deeply. He was a tender soul. The world lost a gentle spirit. I will always love him. I am grateful he left two sons and Marley so that a bit of him lives here on earth with us.

"This is my Quest...to follow that Star....no matter how far."
Ever since our Journeys crossed paths back in 1972, you, Jay, have been ever in my Heart...and, always will be. You are forever my true "King Arthur," my true "Cervantes/Don Quixote."
Jay, may your footsteps bit lit by all the Stars of the Heavens...just as YOUR brilliance has enlightened our Lives.
