Jeffrey Warren Stewart, 70, passed away surrounded by his family on December 15th, 2018. Born and raised in Moon Township, PA, Jeffrey was the son of Robert and Dorothy (Heer) Stewart. He proudly served in the U.S. Army as a Specialist 5 from 1968-1970 during the Vietnam War. He spent the majority of his career as a surgical technician at West Penn Hospital. While he always found happiness in his work and with his many friends, the most profound joy of his life was found through his two daughters, Mairead and Sean. Whether he was relaxing on the shores of the Outer Banks, dealing a winning hand of cards, sharing a cold beer and a deep conversation, telling a “Dad joke,” or simply going out for pancakes and eggs -- Jeff was always happiest when he was with his girls. In addition to his daughters, Jeff is also survived by his sisters Nancy (Dale) Gregoritch, Lee Ann Plish, Laurie Stiffler, brothers Donald Stewart, Alan (Mary Anne) Stewart, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his older brother, Robert Neil Stewart. His kind eyes, warm smile, gentle nature, and wicked sense of humor will be remembered by all who knew him, because to know him was to instantly love him. Family & Friends will be received Tuesday, December 18th from 2-4p.m. and 7-9p.m at the Copeland Coraopolis Funeral Home where a service will be held Wednesday, December 19th, at 11AM .In lieu of flowers, Jeff’s family kindly requests donations be made to a charity of your choice.
