Jean L. Starr age 93 of Moon Twp. passed away at her home with her family at her side. Jean fondly known as “Queen” by all who knew and loved her, was born in Aliquippa April 9, 1924 to the late Martina Broberg and Clarence Neish. She was a member at Mt. Carmel Presbyterian Church and a retired Office Manager with; J & L Steel, Shiflet Enterprises and was the former owner and operator of Bailey’s Restaurant on Flagherty Run Rd. Moon Twp. and worked at one time as a cashier at Fratangelo’s Market. Besides her parents she was also predeceased by her husband Leonard Starr in 1985, a son, Jon Starr, 2 brothers; Jay and Donald Neish. Jean is now survived by a son Jeffrey Starr and Tracy Passarella of Moon Twp., a step daughter Patricia (David) Atkinson of CA, 4 step grandchildren and step great grandchildren. Friends will be received Sunday 6-8PM & Monday 2-4 & 6-8pm at the Copeland Moon Twp. Funeral Home, 981 Brodhead Rd. where a Service will be held Tuesday at 1:00PM.
