Janet A. Polen age 72 of Moon Twp. Pa. passed away Friday, Dec. 29, 2017 at Heritage Valley Beaver. She was born in McKees Rocks June 16, 1945 to the late Mary Sheffler and John Chadish. Janet was a resident of Moon Twp. since 1967, she was an EMT with Valley Ambulance and later a Dispatcher with them. Janet was also a Member of Moon Twp. Ladies Auxiliary a 1963 Graduate of West Allegheny High School, and a member of Sharon Community Presbyterian Church. She was predeceased in Feb. 2013 by her loving husband John B. Polen. Janet is survived by her children; James Polen and Jill Buffington both of Moon Twp., and a loving granddaughter, Vanessa Lynne Polen. Friends will be received Tuesday 5-8pm at the Copeland Moon Twp. Funeral; Home, 981 Brodhead Rd., where a Service will be held Wed at 1PM followed by burial.
