Henry A. “Harvey” Hart, Sr., age 91, a World War II Army Ari Force Veteran, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 15, 2017, at his home in Hopewell surrounded by the love of his family. He was born on February 7, 1926 to the late Harry Vitus and Rose Dorothy (Herrmann) Hart. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his former spouse Elayne Westerwick and six sisters Dorothy “Dolly” Hart, Amelia “Sis” Wallace, Betty “Babe” Haupt, Ruth “Rudie” Schenkle, Marian “Mary” Jackman and Praxedes “Hootsie” Pfeiffer. Beloved father of Henry A. Hart, Jr. (Kathy) of Pittsburgh and Holly Buczko (Mark) of Hopewell; cherished grandfather of Aaron, Buczko, Adam Buczko (Dawn) and Theron Hart (Jenna); proud great grandfather of Wyatt, Sydney and Henry Hart and Taylor Buczko; also, many loving nieces and nephews. Harvey was a member of Plumbers Local 27. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting and fishing. Visitation Thursday from 2 PM- 8 PM with Service and Military Honors at 6:30 PM at Copeland’s Moon Township, 981 Brodhead Rd. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to Good Samaritan Hospice.
