Georgina (Jean) Thornburg Runyon

Formerly of Ft. Pierce,FL and Glenwillard, PA

Quietly passed away at the John J Kane Regional Center in Ross Twp., PA. She was born in Coraopolis on November 2, 1929 to her parents Arville and Elizabeth Thornburg. She was

preceded in death by her husband of 56 years John (Jack) Runyon, and a brother Harry Thornburg. She is survived by her children and their spouses Vicki Runyon Harper (Richard) of Griffin, GA; David Runyon (Terri) of Independence Township, PA and Douglas Runyon (Tracey) of Huntersville, NC; her grandchildren Cari Harper Fortner, Stephen Harper, Jennifer Harper all of GA, Jack  Runyon of Independence Township, PA, Michael Runyon of Center, PA; Sinclair Runyon and Sophie Runyon of NC., and 7 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Shirley Yunker of Pinellas Park, FL.

Donations may be made in her name to St. Catherine’s Catholic Church in Crescent, PA. A private ceremony for immediate family will take place at the Resurrection Cemetery at a date to be determined.
