Georgiann (Gross) Richards “Georgi Girl”, a life-long resident of Coraopolis and Moon Township, passed away on Monday, September 25, 2017 at Allegheny General Hospital surrounded by the love of her family. She was born in Pittsburgh on August 24, 1949 to the late George and Evelyn (McMonigle) Gross. She is the loved and cherished mother of Kerri Richards, Kelly Luster and Melissa Richards; proud grandma of Mason Fisher, Brieshaunna Richards, Deandrea Quarles, Michael Richards, Dominique Richards, Nadhama Luster, Nadhon Luster, Nadayah Luster, and Nadarius Luster; niece of Joanne Drummond. Georgiann, a Pittsburgh Sports Fan, could be found cheering on the Pittsburgh Penguins and the Pirates. She was a 1968 graduate of Moon High School.  Georgiann was the sweetest, kindest person, who loved and cared for her family, actually, everyone whose life she touched. She will be greatly missed, but will live on in our hearts and minds. Georgiann requested cremation and arrangements by Copeland’s. Because of Georgiann’s love of others, the family requests that you do a kindness for another in need.
