George Donnon McKee, age 83, of Crescent, passed away peacefully at home on Easter Monday, April 22, 2019. He was born in Deleware, OH on March 10, 1936, one of two sons to the late George D. and Margaret (Bell) McKee. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother David McKee. Beloved husband for 53 years to Beverly (Collins) McKee; loving father of Michael (Kimberly) McKee of Crescent; cherished grandfather of Jonathan and Emily; brother-in-law of Nancy McKee of Clarington, OH, Mary A. (Tony) Linn of CA and Thomas Collins of NY; cherished uncle of Dave, Bruce and Brian McKee and Amanda Linn. George was an aircraft mechanic for U.S. Air and had belonged to the Mechanics Union. George proudly served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War as an aircraft mechanic. He was a faithful member of the Prince of Peace Anglican Church (Hopewell) where he had been an usher and greeter. George was a wood worker and craftsman and loved to garden. Visitation Thursday 2-4, 7-9 at Copeland’s Moon Township, 981 Brodhead Rd. where prayers will be offered at closing. A memorial service will be celebrated on Friday at 11:00 AM at Prince of Peace Anglican Church, 1314 Gringo Rd., Aliquippa, PA 15001. The McKee family would like to thank Heritage Hospice Caregivers: Barbara, Melissa and Lori for two years of devoted hospice care. The McKee Family would also like to thank the Rector: The Rev.
