Frank Kirin

Frank Kirin, 85 of Moon Township passed on Thursday August 23, 2018. Born December 28, 1932 in Aliquippa, son of the late Ivan and Katie Kirin; beloved husband of 67 years to Norma (Swartz) Kirin; loving father of Robin (Gregory) Scharding of Concord, NC and Marcy (Larry) John of Aliquippa; brother of Agnes Pavletic of Aliquippa; Josephine Malkoski of Crescent and the late Ann Cofer, Matt and Tommy Kirin. Frank was a steelworker at J&L steel and also did excavating work. He was a Korean War Veteran serving in the army and was a member of the Hopewell VFW Auxiliary, the Glenwilliard Boat Club and enjoyed wood carving and hunting. Viewing Copeland’s Moon Township, 981 Brodhead Road on Monday 2-4 & 6-8 PM where a funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 AM. Interment to follow at Coraopolis Cemetery with full military honors.
