Frances Sheffler Obituary

Frances Jean Sheffler, 72, of Coraopolis, PA, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 28, 2018.

Fran was born on June 7, 1945 in Sewickley, PA to the late Frank and Julia Sheffler. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Barbara R. Wilson, and Frank Sheffler Jr. She is survived by her brother Gary A. Sheffler (Lee) and his family along with niece Amy Hollstein (Randy) and her family. In addition, she will be remembered by many cousins and her godchildren Derek DiSabatino and Kaley Carillon. She will be greatly missed by her many friends, especially her best friend Loretta Kuhn.

Fran retired from a career in management in the retail business and spent the last several years volunteering in many organizations such at the Ladies of the Red Hats and traveling with friends. She especially loved the Pittsburgh Steelers and playing board games.

Fran will be remembered for her sense of humor, love of her dog, Riley and the way she truly enjoyed life.

Visitation is planned for Monday, June 4, 2018 from 9:00 am-11:00 at Copelands Funeral Home in Coraopolis, Pennsylvania. A service will follow at the funeral home and burial will be private.
