On Thursday, November 21st, 2019, "May" (Ethel) Dziuba suddenly and unexpectedly passed away. Born on December 30th, 1924 to the late Henry & Mildred (Nolan) Gleason. She married the love of her life, the late Theodore (“Ted”) Dziuba on April 27th, 1945. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, her younger brother, Henry Gleason of Waterloo, N.Y., and her three grandsons, Brandon Verminksi Sr., Jeffrey Verminski, and Neil Saxe. She is survived by her two beautiful daughters, Arlene (Rick) Caldwell of Pittsburgh, PA. & Susan Saxe of Greenville, S.C.. She is also survived by two very special grandchildren, Scott (Patty) Saxe of Greenville, S.C. and Courtney Caldwell (Ricky Bonilla) of Pittsburgh, P.A.. Her granddaughter-in-law, Brandy Verminski of Upstate, N.Y. Seven adored great grandchildren, Scotty, Zachary, Brandon Jr., Nicky, Payton, Aria & Carter. Her sister-in-law, Doris Gleason of Waterloo, N.Y. and a very special niece, Angie Gasparo of Auburn, N.Y.. She is also survived by several other nephews, nieces, and great nephews & nieces. May also had a lifelong, dear friendship with the Mrs. "Duff" (Lillian) Matt. May proudly worked for General Electric in her younger years inspecting transistor radios. May loved books of all kinds, music, playing cards, flowers, sweets of all sorts, but helping others the most. She was selfless in her nature, gentle and subtle in her approach and left a lasting impression of love on every encounter with her life. May truly had a beautiful soul. She was a marvelous Servant of our Lord and exemplified her love for Christ through her good deeds and pure love towards others. May was dedicated to her family, near and far. She will be remembered best for her Godly aura, her simplistic elegance, her kind soul and abundant love. Family and Friends will be received at Copeland's in Moon Township on Tuesday, December 3rd, from 3p.m. to 5p.m. and 7p.m. to 9p.m.. A brief Prayer service will be held on Wednesday, December 4th at Copeland's in Moon Township at 10:30a.m. followed by a formal Mass of Remembrance at St. Margaret Mary's Catholic Church in Moon, P.A. at 11a.m. In the Spring (date TBD) a formal Funeral Mass will be held by Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in N.Y. and a memorial service will be held by Eannace Funeral home in Upstate, N.Y. with family and friends there. Immediately following a formal Christian Burial will take place, where May will be buried next to her beloved husband and two grandsons, Brandon and Jeffrey. Flowers will be accepted in her honor and beautiful memory, as she was a fond lover of posies, as she liked to call them. May will always be remembered for her bright light, unwavering Faith and as her family's unending sunshine.
