Dorothy M. (Olson) Young

Dorothy Young, 92 of Moon Township passed on Thursday October 18, 2018. “Come unto me, All who are weary and Burdened, and I will give you rest.” Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents James and Myrtle Olson, her husband William “Bill” Young Sr. her children and spouses William “Billy” (Joan) Young and Myrtle “Myrt” (Bill) Schultheis and 2 grandchildren Jennifer Schultheis Cates and infant Michael Schultheis. She is survived by her grandchildren Melinda Young (Robyn), Bob Young (Sue), Jill Bua (Mike), Diane Young Frederick (Steve) and Chris Young; her great-grandchildren, Doug Johnson (Jessica), Heather Cope (Allen), David Cates (Ali) and Ryan Hernan and her great-great grandchildren, Jackson Cope, Jaycie Hernan and Jensen Cates. Dorothy worked for many years at Star Shoe Store and then went on to care for the Russo children as if they were her own. She has been a lifelong member of the Broadhead Christian Missionary Alliance Church and she cherished the friendships she made throughout the years. Visitation at Christ Alliance Church, 1881 Broadhead Rd., Aliquippa, PA 15001 on Saturday from 9:30 to 11:30 AM with service to follow. Interment to follow at Sylvania Hills Memorial Park. A special thank you to Gallagher Hospice, Patty Lynn, Evetta Mudrick, Shirley Dean and the Schultheis family for everything you have done these past few years.
