Debra A. White
Debra A. White passed away, peacefully, in her sleep on Sunday, March 25, 2018 after an epic 25-year battle with multiple sclerosis.
Debbie loved her savior, Jesus Christ. Reliance on His promises, especially Romans 8:28, kept her outlook on life positive and upbeat. Often, she gave comfort and hope to friends and family who came to encourage her. Her sister, brothers-in-law, and sisters- in-law from near and far told of the inspiration she gave.
She was born December 12, 1952, in Russellton, Pa., the 3rd daughter of George and Anna (Slanicka) Kaduk. She graduated from Deer Lakes High School in 1970. After graduating from Bradford Business School in Pittsburgh, she began working at PNC Bank (formerly Pittsburgh National Bank) in January 1972. She was working as an administrative assistant in the Commercial Banking division of the bank in 1996, when disability due to MS made it necessary for her to leave her position.
She is survived by Allen White, her husband of 43 years, and her sister, MaryAnn L. Karasack (Donald) of Ellwood City, PA. She is also survived by nephews Vincent Karasack, David Elkin, Patrick Elkin and nieces Amelia “Amy” Kosdrosky and Georgeann Treusch. In addition to her parents, a sister Kathleen J. Elkin (David) preceded her in death.
A graveside interment service was held on Wednesday, March 28, at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery, Coraopolis, PA.
A memorial celebration is scheduled for Saturday, April 28, at 1 PM at Christ Church Grove Farm, 249 Duff Road, Sewickley, PA 15143. Arrangements by Copeland’s.
