D. Jean (McMaster) Dickhart

D. Jean (McMaster) Dickhart, 95, of life-long resident of Moon Township, passed away on Sunday, January 12, 2020. She was born on March 12, 1924 in Moon Township, one of seven to the late Robb and Nannie (Forsythe) McMaster. On June 1, 1984, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband Harold Dickhart. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter Kay Bynum, and her siblings Marie Kerry, Mae Rogers, Mable Varley, Eleanor Cunninghman, Roberta Sontag, and Ralph McMaster. 

Jean is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Michael and Diane Dickhart of Gibsonia and son-in-law Claude Bynum of Neville Island; two grandson Frank (fiancé Traci) Bynum and Keith (Renee) Bynum; six great grandchildren Justin, Shane, Geoff, Mason, Sally and Frankii Lynn.

For 25 years, Jean was a cook at Western Hills School in Moon until her retirement on June 3, 1994.

Visitation Wednesday 1-4 and Thursday from 9:30 AM until time of service at 10 AM at Copeland’s Coraopolis, 867 Fifth Ave. Rev. Allan K. Brooks officiating. In lieu of flowers, family suggests donations in her name to Beaver County Cancer and Heart Association, Suite 104, 3582 Broadhead RD., Monaca, PA 15061-2523.
