Cheryl A. (Lenkoski) Allen, passed peacefully at her home on Monday with her family close-by on Monday, January 14, 2019. “As I look back over our 41 years of marriage, I realize how really blessed our lives have been. We’ve been through rough times and great times, but we’ve always been there for each other. I am truly blessed and will miss you dearly, but just for a brief time before we meet again. You have been the most courageous person in your battle against brain cancer this last 8 years. It has been an honor for me to walk that path with you. Soon you shall be with Jesus, your mom and dad and of course, Muchacho, our pup is waiting for you too. All my love to you.” Cheryl, age 61, a Moon Township resident for the past 30 years was born in Pittsburgh on August 3, 1957. She was one of three children born to the late Michael and Marlene (Meyer) Lenkoski. Cheryl was a 1975 graduate of South Hills High School going onto obtain her Associate Degree from Bradford Business School. She was a valued billing clerk for Houston Harbaugh Attorneys at Law. Cheryl enjoyed the outdoors, gardening as well as shopping and crafts. Cheryl is the beloved and cherished wife for 41 years of Steve Allen; devoted mother of Gregory Allen of Moon; well-loved sister of Deborah (Craig) Schmotzer and Michael (Betty) Lenkoski; she was adored by her beloved Chihuahua, the late Muchacho.
