Charles Placek age 84  passed away April 7, 2017  at his home with his family at his side. Charles was born in Coraopolis Nov. 7, 1932 to the late Katherine Kovach and Frank Placek. He is survived by his wife of 64 years Edith Jones Placek,  3 sons; Charles “Chuck” (Marie) Placek of  Clinton, Howard “Dale” (Linda) Placek of Center Twp. and Lonnie Placek of Coraopolis, also survived by 5 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren, also by a brother Steve Brogley of Stowe Twp.. Friends will be received Monday 2-4 & 7-9pm at the Copeland Coraopolis Funeral Home, 867 Fifth Ave where a Service will be held on Tuesday at 12pm, burial will follow in Coraopolis Cemetery.
