Charles J. Liffert

Charles J. Liffert, 94 of Sewickley, passed away peacefully on October 12, 2019. Born on October 30, 1924, he was the son of the late Regina and Charles Liffert. He proudly served our country in the United States Marines during WWII. Charles was a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and went on to become an accountant with the Pennsylvania Department of Justice for many years and enjoyed gardening and home improvement in his free time. He was a member of the Ohio Township Volunteer Fire Department.

Charles is survived by sisters Alice Schwartz, and Dolores Johnson, a brother Frank Liffert, his dear friend Bill Miller and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his brother George Liffert.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday October 30 at 11:00 AM at St. Mary's Church in Glenfield.
