Carolyn Bartos Obituary

Carolyn R. Bartos ,72, a resident of White Rock, New Mexico since 1978 passed away January 8, 2017 at Los Alamos Medical Center, Los Alamos, NM from a brave and courageous fight with leukemia. Carolyn was born in Sewickley, Pa on June 2, 1944 to Mary and Thomas Gayliardi Sr.

Carolyn was a 1962 graduate of Montour High School and worked as a pre-school teacher before retiring. She enjoyed working in her garden and yard and her two dogs, Shila and KoKo.

Carolyn is survived by her husband of 54 years Jacob Bartos III; sons Jacob (Julie) Bartos IV, Timothy (Rona) Bartos, and Alan Bartos; mother Mary Gayliardi and siblings Thomas (Marie) Gayliardi Jr. and Mary Ann (John) Hennen; nieces and nephews; she is preceded in the death by her father Thomas Gayliardi Sr.

We were blessed to have such a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.

Memorial donations may be made in Carolyn's name to Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at 10 AM at St. Joseph Church in Coraopolis Pa., Father Sean Francis celebrant, and placed in Holy Angels Mausoleum at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery.
