Our beautiful Brittany Leigh Burge, 27, passed suddenly and went home to be with the Lord on Sunday morning, October 22, 2017. She was born on March 19, 1990 in Pittsburgh, PA.

She was on loan to us for a brief 27 years and we were blessed to have that time with her. There are no words to truly describe what she meant to the world, it was immeasurable. She was a loving daughter, a loyal sister, a fun-loving aunt and a faithful friend. She was a devoted dog/cat mom and a lover of animals. She held much joy in her heart for things in nature and enjoyed time in her yard among the many flowers and trees. Brittany had such a generous and giving spirit to everyone she met. Her beautiful smile and love of life were truly contagious.

Brittany was the beloved daughter of Barbara L. Burge and the late Paul R. Burge, Jr. She is survived by her sisters, Marti Burge of Vienna, WV, Jennifer Rickman (Tom) of Pittsburgh, PA, Abbey Grove of Columbus, OH, Ashley Cunningham (Justin) of Florida, best friend and baby sister, Elle T. Burge of Los Angeles, CA and brother, Brandon O’Neil (Midge) of Pittsburgh, PA. Brittany is also survived by nephews, Jacob Rickman, Cole O’Neil, niece, Kendall O’Neil of Pittsburgh, PA, grandmother, Libby Burge of Vienna, WV and incredible amount of loving friends.

Brittany was welcomed in heaven by her loving father and grandparents, J. William and Patricia Vucick, Paul R. Burge, Sr. and aunts Linda Ross and Sandra McGinnis.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by Copeland Funeral Home, 702 Beaver St., Sewickley, PA 15143. Calling hours are Friday, Nov. 3, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 AM, Saturday, Nov. 4, 2017 at St. James Catholic Church, 200 Walnut St., Sewickley, PA 15143.
