Barbara Wolf

Barbara Louise Wolf, 73, a life-long resident of Coraopolis, passed away on Tuesday, September 17, 2019 in her home. Born in Sewickley on March 29, 1946, she was one of five children to the late Leonard and Barbara Louise (Pfieffer) Scherzer. On June 30, 2000, she was preceded in death by her husband Chester “Chet” A. Wolfe. Beloved mother of Phillip Slie and Chuck (Heather) Wolf; grandmother of Christian Slie, Taylor Wolf, Chuck Wolf, Savannah Slie, Arianna Slie and Calista Slie; sister of Fred (Carol) Scherzer and the late Mary Tranovich, Martha Donahue and John Scherzer. Barbara was a Licensed Practical Nurse who worked in home health and was also a member of Zion Lutheran Church. Barbara requested cremation. She will be entombed at Coraopolis Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, family suggests donations in her name to the charity of your choice.
