Albert Edward Wilkinson loved his family and friends. He had a heart of gold and would do absolutely anything for others. On Tuesday, October 3, 2017, Albert and his father were in a car accident in Moon Township that took both their lives. Albert, 55 years old, was born in Sewickley, PA on July 6, 1962, son of the late Samuel and Ida (Meyers) Wilkinson. Albert made his home in Coraopolis, had worked at Outback Steakhouse and was fondly referred to as "the informal mayor of West End Ave". Husband of Susan (Reeder) Wilkinson; loving father of Hannah Wilkinson and PFC Samuel W. Wilkinson (Philly) all of Coraopolis; cherished brother of Robert William (Kathy) Wilkinson of North Fayette Township. Visitation Saturday 2-8 and Sunday 1-5 PM at Copeland’s Moon Township, 981 Brodhead Rd. Funeral service for both father and son will be at New Bethlehem Presbyterian Church, (Please meet at church) 183 Bethlehem Church Rd., Aliquippa, PA 15001 for visitation 10 AM until service at 11 AM. Burial will follow in New Bethlehem Church Cemetery.
