Atlas Matthew Balkovec

Atlas, Matthew Balkovec, born December 26, 2023 passed away suddenly on 20 April 2024. Atlas was survived by his older sister Irina Veresova Meanor-Gratton, his mother, Emma, Grace Gratton and his father, Matthew Stephen Meanor. He was given the last name Balkovec in honor of his paternal grandfather Gregory, Edward Balkovec. Atlas was also survived by his grandmother Gail Johnson Gratton and his grandmother Tina Meanor. He was also survived by his aunts Sarah Gratton, Nicole Erickson, and Julie Charko. Our beautiful son Atlas is with God. You may be gone from this earth, but you were ushered into your heavenly home. God has your hand and you will forever be guided by Him. We will meet again one day - until then live on, sweet boy. We love you, Atlas. I pray that you know the gift of heaven and are happy and know you are in the most perfect place possible. You came into this world perfect and innocent, and left this earth the same.

You are so loved and cherished, baby boy. You are forever in our hearts.

A private viewing will be held at Copeland funeral home in Sewickley, Pennsylvania for family and close friends.

Atlas Matthew Balkovec will be laid to rest in the Sewickley Cemetery in Sewickley, Pennsylvania
