Wilma E. (Doran) Ostapchenko, age 86, a Coraopolis resident since 1957, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 16, 2016. She was born in Imperial on October 9, 1930, one of four to the late Arthur and Mary (Davis) Doran. On February 4, 2010, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband who she married on October 8, 1949, Albert M. Ostapchenko. Beloved and cherished mother of William (Debbie) Ostapchenko of Kennedy Township, Mary Ann Ostapchenko Meanor of Moon Township and the late Patricia “CheChe” Lauderbaugh; loving and adored grandmother of Billy & Marisa Ostapchenko and Kaley & Rick Meanor; sister of the late Patricia Doran, Virginia Balkevich and Arthur Doran. For 35 years, Wilma worked as a cook for Gino’s Restaurant and Catering on Neville Island. As a Mom, she was very involved in her children’s lives, but when the “Grand Kids” came along, they were her life. Visitation Wednesday 2-8 PM at Copeland’s Coraopolis, 867 Fifth Ave. where service will be held on Thursday at 10 AM. Burial will follow in Coraopolis Cemetery.
