William (Bill) Freisleben, 85, of Sewickley entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, June 27 after a courageous battle with cancer.  He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Shirley Drexler Freisleben and they became the proud parents of Amy Pozycki (Joe), Bill (Kayln) and Roger (Beth Ann). Pap Bill’s pride and joy are his grandchildren Adam Kostial (deceased), Aaron and Ashley Kostial, Emily Freisleben Lackner (Brian) and Owen and Ryan Freisleben. He especially enjoyed all of their soccer and hockey games that started at the ice rink with Adam.  He continued to be the biggest cheerleader at family gatherings during game time (especially the Pens)! Bill is survived by his sister, Mary Klimek (Cleveland, OH).  Preceding him in death are his parents Vaclav and Stephanie, brothers Elmer, Jimmy and Bob, and sisters Vera Rehak and Alice Stephen. Visitation is on Wednesday, June 28 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Copeland Sewickley Funeral Home, 702 Beaver St. A Funeral Service will be held Thursday at 11 am at Christ Church at Grove Farm, 249 Duff Rd., Sewickley, PA  15143.   Everyone is to meet at the church.  Burial will follow at Sewickley Cemetery.
