William F. Weisser Sr.

William F. Weisser Sr. age 85 of Ambridge formerly of Neville Island passed away March 1, 2018. William was born in Neville Island to Clara Dapper and Edward Weisser. He was an Army Veteran during the Korean conflict, a Truck Driver with Pittsburgh Builders Supply retiring in 1993 with 35 years of service, he was also a member of St. Joseph Church, a Teamster member with Local 249, and a Lifetime member of VFW Post 402. William enjoyed hunting and fishing. He is survived by his children; Paul (Nikki) Weisser Houston TX, Brenda Lee (David) Spears Charlotte NC, William F. (Alice) Weisser Jr. Harmony Twp., a sister Katie Howard Rodgers AR, a brother Henry Weisser of TX a sister in law Rachel Weisser Reynoldsville OH, 8 grandchildren; Georgia, Billy, Amelea, Charlie, Joshua, Panda, Cassie, Chelsea, several great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Bill was predeceased by his first wife the late Mary Wright, and his second wife Carmella Policari, also 2 sisters; Mary Eshenbaugh, Clara Foldus, brothers; Joseph Weisser, Charles Weisser, brothers in laws Richard Greenhouse, Charles Wright, Robert Howard Jim and Jennie Felton. Family will receive friend Sun. 2-4 & 6-8pm at the Copeland Coraopolis Funeral Home where a Private Blessing Service will be held on Mon. followed by Military Honors.  Members of VFW Post 402 will hold a Service Sunday at 7pm in the Funeral Home. The family would like to thank the staff and residents of Elderberry Court in Ambridge where he received great love and care.
