Steven G. "Kep" Kephart, was taken to his heavenly home on Good Friday, April 14, 2017 at the age of 51. He was born in Charleston, WV on November 10, 1965, cherished son of Doris (Hepp) Kephart and the late Ernest Kephart. Beloved husband for 22 years "4-Ever & Always" to Tammy (Karlowsky) Kephart; loving father of Steven O. Kephart; brother of Greg (Pam) Kephart, Pam (Neil) Ramsey, Oren (Tina) Kephart, Christine (Lynn) Frederick, and Cyndy (Bud) Grimm; also, loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; and certainly, his loving dog Mishela. Having grown up in the Bon Meade area he graduated from Moon High school, as well as CCAC, CCBC & Kennebec Valley in Maine. Steven was employed with Jordan and Skala Engineers in both Georgia and North Carolina as a plumbing designer, as well as a member of ASPE. Steven loved hunting, fishing, being at the ocean and animals especially dogs. A family man, he would love relaxing with his son at their favorite fishing spot. A great example to all of us, he was a courageous warrior, who never let his lengthy illness define him. He will be greatly missed because he was deeply loved. The family would like to say Thank you to Kindred Hospital of Pittsburgh for their 7 months of compassionate and loving care. Visitation Friday 5-9 PM at Copeland’s Moon township, 981 Brodhead Rd. Please join the Family for Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday at 9:30 AM at St. Margaret Mary Church, 1 Parish Place, Moon Township, PA 15108. Burial will be private at Huntington Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the National Kidney Foundation.
