Patricia A. (Schwartz) Howard, age 90, a Hopewell resident since 2002, formerly of Moon Township for 45 years, passed away in the comfort of her home surrounded by the love of her family. She was born in Pittsburgh on February 18, 1927 to the late Albert and Stella (Killmeyer) Schwartz.  On June 9, 1951, she married the love of her life, Walter “Bud” Howard, who passed on May 12, 1999. Beloved mother of Patricia Jo Gilmore of Glenfield, Jacqueline (Joe) Bidzilya of Castle Shannon and Valerie (Scott) Mawhinney of Hopewell; cherished grandmother of Justin, Christen (Jim), Ryan (Amanda), Matthew (fiancé Brianne) Ericka, Luke, Zeb, and Kenzie; proud great grandmother of Gavin and Ryan, Jr.; sister of Albert (Marie) Schwartz of Hopewell. Patricia was a member of St. Margaret Mary Church, Moon AARP, bowling league on Neville Island and volunteered at D.T. Watson. Patricia loved to travel both in the states and overseas, anywhere there was a beach. She was a retired secretary from Dravo Corporation. Visitation Sunday 12-4, 6-8 at Copeland’s Moon Township, 981 Brodhead Rd. where prayers will be recited on Monday at 9:30 AM followed by Mass at St. Margaret Mary Church at 10 AM. Father Frank Kurimsky will officiate. Burial will follow in John Anderson Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, family suggests donations in her name to the Beaver County Humane Society.
