Patricia “Louise” (Shoup) Hopkins, of Crescent, formerly of Imperial, age 76, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at Heritage Valley Sewickley. She was born in Robinson Township on September 17, 1940 to the late Earl and Alice (Duffy) Shoup. On October 9, 1959, she married the love of her life, Thomas R. Hopkins, Sr. Making their home in Coraopolis, they had three beautiful children: Marica Autry (Don) of Crescent, Thomas R. Hopkins, Jr.(Tammy) of Stockbridge, GA and Tod R. Hopkins (Valerie) of Herndon, VA. Loving Grandmother of five grandchildren: Rachel Hopkins Wadsworth (Larry), Jenna Williams (Rodney), Sean Hopkins (Mursal), Christopher Hopkins (fiancée Kayla), and Savannah Autry. And great grandmother of four great grandchildren: twins Larry Thomas and Thomas Ruel Wadsworth, Eva Louise and Scarlett Lucille Williams; also surviving are two cherished sisters and brother: Dorothy Fitch (Ralph), Pearl Fortney all of Coraopolis and Charles Shoup of Imperial. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Earl Shoup. Pat was a wonderful baker for Robert Morris University. Pat, talented and creative, enjoyed painting, crocheting, quilting, ceramics, all sorts of crafts. Then she would pamper family and friends with these special gifts. She was an avid Pirates Fan (RTJR). Pat was loved by all she knew and will be greatly missed. Please join her family for visitation Saturday 2-4, 6-8 at Copeland’s Moon Township, 981 Brodhead Rd.
