Olive Mae (Landsittel) Price, 87, life-long resident of Coraopolis, best mom, grandma, and great grandma, passed away Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at West Penn Hospice. She was born in Neville Township on July 20, 1929 to the late Gerald and Mary (Dwyer) Landsittel. On May 19, 2004, she was preceded in death by her husband Ralph Price.Cherished mother of Patricia Ackley and Susan Lewis; beloved grandmother “Gram” of Michelle Leas (Richard) and Lisa DiCicco (Scott); well- loved great grandmother “Memaw” of Madyson Leas, Gianna and Jameson Dicicco; sister of Geraldine Simmons and Kay Grannis and the late Vincent and Gerald Landsittel; also nieces and nephews. Working all her life and believing in woman and their strength, Olive was the first woman driver for Coraopolis Taxi and was a stupendous cook for Stan and Jan’s on Fifth Ave. She was also supporting the VFW and Moose by selling the 50/50 and playing BINGO. A Mom is a forever friend and we loved you so much. We will always miss you. Visitation Saturday 9-11 AM at Copeland’s Coraopolis, 867 Fifth Ave. where service will be held at 11 AM. Rev. Dr. Thomas Petrosky will officiate. Entombment will follow in Coraopolis Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donation may be made via phone, on-line or checks will be appreciated to Allegheny Health Network.
