Myles T. Gaffney, Jr., age 57, a life-long resident of Moon Township, passed away on Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at Heritage Valley Beaver. Cherished son of the late Ruth E. (Thornburg) and Myles T. Gaffney, Sr., he was born in Sewickley on January 11, 1959.In addition to his parents, Myles was preceded in death by his brother Reed Gaffney. Myles was a member of the Boilermakers Lodge #154. He is survived by many loving cousins and friends. A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2016 at Copeland’s Moon Township, 981 Brodhead Rd. from 10 AM until time of service at 11 AM. Rev. Harriet Hutton will officiate. Burial will be private at Sewickley Cemetery. In honor of Myles devotion to his mother, family suggests donations to the Ladies Auxiliary of Sewickley Valley Hospital.
