Fratangelo, Mary Patricia (Gallagher), age 93, of Moon Twp. (formerly of Baldwin and Hazelwood), born into eternal life June 29, 2017, peacefully surrounded by family at her bedside at Vincentian Home. Beloved wife of the late Paul C., Sr.; mother of John (Marilyn) Fratangelo, Bob (Pat) Fratangelo, Mary Eileen Fratangelo, Paul Jr. (Kim) Fratangelo, Maggie (the late Gino) Esposito, Joe (Patty) Fratangelo, Chuck (Suellyn) Fratangelo, Bill (Eileen) Fratangelo, Rick (Mary) Fratangelo, Cathy (the late Mark) Grimm; loving grandmother of Gina, Robert (Ranee), Amy, Julie (Sean) Nguyen, Teresa, Scott (Tami), Paul III, Melissa, Caiden, Trish, Alysia, Brad, Kristen, Megan (Nick) Ostronic, Justina, Janice, John, Juliana, and the late Jacinta and Francisco; loving great-grandmother of Jayde, Zane, Kemp, Nell, Isabella, Cole, Gus, Gracelyn, Joelle ,Kellye, Cassey, Kylie, Elizabeth, Jameson Joseph and Makenna Grace; daughter of the late James and Edith (Lavelle) Gallagher; sister of the late James Gallagher Jr. (Alice), the late Philip (the late Joan) and the late Terrance Gallagher; and sister-in-law of the late Francis ( late Mary) Fratangelo. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Mary Patricia began her career as a secretary at the War College in Washington, DC, followed by serving in the Navy during WWII in both Pearl Harbor and Japan. After the Navy, Mary Patricia worked for the Bureau of Mines She then became a devoted stay-at-home mom raising 10 children in the Catholic faith. She belonged to the Dramatic Society at St. Stephen's in Hazelwood, a life-long Christian Mother and a member of the Legion of Mary. Mary Patricia always attended daily Mass. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to Our Lady of the Sacred Heart High School, 1504 Woodcrest Avenue, Coraopolis, PA 15108.
