My sincerest condolences to the family. I got the chance to meet Kim while she worked L&D at SVH. Due to complications of my pregnancy we began to get to know each other well. She always had a smile on her face and good spirit. On Aug 16, 2011 my daughter was born via emergency C-section at only 35 weeks. Again, Kim was there to help me through this. Not only was she an amazing person but an exceptional nurse. She definitely played a part in me going back to nursing school. I pray for the family today, tomorrow and until they meet again. Know that you are love, Kim. Mandy and Randilyn Friend

Kim was a great labor and delivery nurse. She always took very good care of her patients and put them at ease. She had a sense of humor and brightened the room with her smile. Prayers to her family and friends as they suffer this loss!

My deepest sympathy to all of you on the recent loss of Kim. I worked with Kim at Sewickley for many years but when I worked as Dr. Moraca's groups PA, she took me under her wing and taught me so much. She always made me smile and always had a way to calm any situation. She was a fabulous nurse but an even more fabulous person. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

So very sorry to hear of Kim's passing. She was always helpful in whatever capacity she worked. If she didn't know the answer, she would follow through with getting the answer. She was a great and strong person. Prayers to those she left behind 🙏🙏

To Kim's family:
I worked with Kim for over 20 years at SVH/HVS, and am so sorry to hear of her passing. She was a very dedicated nurse, took terrific care of the maternity patients, and better care of the newborns than she ever gave herself credit for. We will all miss her.

We are deeply saddened to hear of Kim's passing. She was always so vibrant, warm and ready to help others. Kim was a huge help to Jaye during the last month of her pregnancy, and offered wisdom and guidance for which we were so grateful. We offer our heartfelt sympathy in her loss and ask that you let us know if/when there will be a gathering to celebrate Kim's life.
